VNese President receives new ambassadors

Spanish Ambassador Jesus Figo Lopez Palop and Yemen Ambassador Adel Mohamed Ali Ba Hamid yesterday presented a letter of credentials to Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang at Presidential Palace on the occasion of they were appointed as new ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

After the ceremony, President Tran Dai Quang received the new ambassadors. 

At the meeting with the Spanish ambassador, the leader pleasured good trade cooperation development between the two countries, an average increase of 15 percent in the period of 2010- 2015. 

However, the Spanish enterprises presented 60 investment projects into Vietnam with total capital of US$ 88.55 million which was not adequate with the potential and strong point of the fourth largest economy of the European Union. 

President Tran Dai Quang suggested that the two countries should strengthen exchange of action programs within mutual cooperation framework of economy, renewable energy, infrastructure, travel and high-technological ecological agriculture. 

Exchanging with the Yemen ambassador, the president strongly affirmed that Vietnam always respects boosting multifaceted cooperation relationship with Yemen, and desired to develop further the relationship in the upcoming time. 

On the same day, the Finnish Ambassador Ilkka Pekka Simila and Greek Ambassador Nikos Kanellos said goodbye to Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang as they finished their mission in Vietnam.
