At the meeting, the special advisor congratulated the Vietnamese Communist Party, National Assembly and Government for a success of the 26th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-26) and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC 2017) and the Vietnam Under 23 football team as they excellently came the second and won Fair Play award at the AFC U23 Championship in China.
NA Chairperson Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan strongly affirmed that relationship between Vietnam and Japan has blossomed, and cultural exchange activities such as the Japan- Vietnam Festival contributed into tightening further the good relationship.
Additionally, she also highlighted role, emotion and active contributions of the special advisor who took the initiative of cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and Japan, contributing in enhancing cultural exchange, understanding between the countries’ people, long- term friendship and cooperation ties between Vietnam and Japan.
Besides that, the Vietnamese leader also suggested the special advisor, the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance to continue affirming their important role in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of investment, trade, human resources training, sports; especially supporting Vietnamese students in the sunrise country.
On the same day, Chairperson Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan chaired a meeting with press agencies on the coming Year of the Dog.
At the meeting, the leader desired that the press agencies continue promoting creative spirit, innovation to diversifiedly reflect in activities of National Assembly; and suggested the press agencies closely collaborated with the NA agencies to become effective political channels.
