VND400 million spent for wounded soldiers, martyrs’ relatives

The Prime Minister approved to spend VND394.6 billion($17.36 million) on gifts for those who had served in the country’s revolution in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) is assigned to carry out the program.

As per the plan, there will be two categories of gifts. Heroic mothers, martyrs’ relatives,  and seriously injured war invalids will receive VND400,000 VND ($17.6) each. War invalids with less severe injuries and martyrs’ families will get VND200,000 ($8.8) each. 

The spending is taken from the state budget.
