VN & Singapore tighten strategic partnership ties

At the reception, the Vietnamese Party leader congratulated great achievements of 

Government and people of Singapore under the leadership of the PAP; and he highly appreciated support of the PAP and Singaporean Government in the fields of training and human resource development.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong expressed his pleasure at good friendly and cooperative relation between Vietnam and Singapore, and appreciated cooperation in the fields of economy, commerce and investment between the two nations since Vietnam and Singapore have established strategic partnership relation; suggesting that both sides need to continue raising mutual collaboration at international and regional forums, especially ASEAN, APEC and the United Nations.

Chairman Khaw Boon Wan affirmed that the PAP always respects multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam; and he appreciated role of Vietnamese Communist Party for the country’s building and development. 

The PAP will continue strengthening further strategic partnership relations between Vietnam and Singapore, and be ready to share experiences in all fields with Party and State of Vietnam.

On the same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc welcomed a high- ranking delegation of the People's Action Party of Singapore.

The recent visit of Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong affirmed active development of the strategic partnership ties; the PM suggested the two countries need to continue effectively implementing framework agreement on economic links.
