VN & Japan promote trade and investment cooperation

State President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang yesterday received Japanese Economy Minister Toshimitsu Motegi in Hanoi.

At the meeting, President Tran Dai Quang said that Vietnam and Japan have had great economic potentiality, so both sides needed to closer collaborate in strengthening trade and investment cooperation and official development assistance (ODA) in the upcoming time.

In addition, the leader desired that the two nations would continue making strategical partnerships profounder.

Vietnam always supports investment and business expansion of the partner in the country; and the Vietnamese Government has been creating more favorable conditions for Japanese investors on base of mutual benefits, he added.

The Vietnamese President appreciated and welcomed presence of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to APEC 2017. He said thank to Japan for effective supports in holding events of APEC Year 2017.
