Vingroup denied information about animal deaths

Representative of Vingroup said the information about the deaths of thousands of species of rare birds and animals in Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc Zoo Park on some social networks in recent days is completely untrue.

After Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc Zoo Park was opened last year, there were more than 100 species, including species of rare birds and animals died because of long transportation process as well as not be taken by environment condition. It said that 135 monkeys have fled their cages, no other species of birds or animals have escaped from the park.

Currently, the animals have been familiar with the new environment condition and recovered good health, confirmed by the park's experts.

Two months after its operation, the semi-wildlife park welcomed the large number of baby animals from Leptailurus serval, Tragelaphus Eurycerus.

Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s first  semi-wildlife park, covering an area of 500 hectares, the park preserves approximately 3, 000 animals representing 150 endangered species around the world.
