Vietnamese, Japanese archives offices sign MoU

On September 12 in Hanoi, the State Records Management and Archives Department of Vietnam and the Japanese National Archives Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation.
The MoU was signed by the head of the Vietnamese department Dang Thanh Tung and director of the National Archives of Japan Takeo Katoh.
According to the MoU, the two sides will carry out a range of activities, including exchanging information and experience in records management and archives, training in records management and archives knowledge, organizing exhibitions and meetings on archives and records management.
Both nations have implemented many cooperative programs in archiving, preserving and restoring precious ancient documents over the past time.
