Vietnam & Laos maintain good traditional ties

PM Phuc said that the upcoming visit of General Secretary of the Vietnamese Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong to Laos will be an important event for the two nations’ bilateral ties.

With the long-term traditional relationship, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed that Vietnam will make its efforts in maintaining the comprehensive cooperative ties for mutual benefits.

The Vietnamese PM suggested the neighboring country should quickly plan and invest for the Hon La – Khammouane oil pipeline project.

Vietnam and Laos will continue strengthening further two- ways cooperative projects, as well as boost the traditional friendship relations after two countries will celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of its diplomatic relations and the 40th years.

Mr. Sonsay Siphadone stressed that Laos determined maintaining the sustainable traditional relations in the context of the current complicated border problems.
