Vietnam Fatherland Front sends congratulations on Women’s Day

Huynh Dam, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, sent congratulatory letters to the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Women’s Union; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; Armed Forces; labour heroines; and Vietnamese women at home and abroad, on the 102nd anniversary of International Women’ Day on March 8.

Huynh Dam, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, sent congratulatory letters to the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Women’s Union; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; Armed Forces; labour heroines; and Vietnamese women at home and abroad, on the 102nd anniversary of International Women’ Day on March 8.

Chairman Dam also acknowledged the 1,972nd anniversary of the Trung Sisters’ Uprising against northern invaders and the 11th National Women’s Congress to be held from March 12-14, mentioning that the Vietnam Fatherland Front will always be proud of Vietnamese women, their glorious traditions and their outstanding contributions in building and protecting the country.

He believed that the 11th National Women’s Congress would be a great success.

On the occasion of International Women’ Day, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Officials honoured 102 highly accomplished women of the city, on March 7.
