According to information from Foreign Affairs Ministry of Vietnam, Vietnam embassy in Malaysia and Malaysian lawyer Hisyam Teh Poh Teik visited Vietnamese murder suspect Doan Thi Huong in the death of Democratic People’s Republic of Korean citizen in Malaysia.

The foreign representation said that Huong's health is improving. The represetation encouraged Huong spirit for the court held on April 13.
The leader of Vietnam Foreign Affairs Ministry met Malaysia Foreign Affairs on April 6, and Malaysia ambassador in Vietnam on April 11 to suggest the Malaysian side should ensure equitable and objective adjudication in accordance with Malaysian and international law as well as to ensure the legitimate rights of Vietnamese citizen.
