Vietnam Coast Guard receives advanced patrol boats

The Vietnam Marine Police Force received two advanced patrol boats in Da Nang on July 9.

The multipurpose patrol boat with number code of CSB 8002 is 90.5 meters long with a heliport.
The ship has an ability to stay at sea for up to 40 days with a gust of wind by over 120km/h.

Colonel Nguyen Quang Dam, the general director of the Vietnam Marine Police Force, said the vessel would be used for patrolling, fighting crime at sea, and protecting fisherman.

Meanwhile another boat with number code of CSB 8005 will be launched in November.
