Member of the Standing Committee and head of Ho Chi Minh City' s Party Committee's Department of Propaganda and Education Than Thi Thu had a meeting with Secretary of Indian Communist Party Committee, Editor in Chief of New Area Newspaper, and director of People’s Publishing House yesterday.
At the meeting, Ms. Than Thi Thu appreciated friendship relations between Vietnam Communist Party and Indian Communist Party so far; and expressed her desire in promoting further media cooperative relations between the two countries.
Secretary Shameem Faizee also expressed his pleasure via outstanding achievements of the Vietnamese Communist Party, people in the recent years. Especially, he stressed that experiences of Vietnam in the innovation period was considered as precious documents for Indian Communist Party in building and development.
In addition, Vietnam has been judged as one of the important partners among members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in India’s foreign policies towards its eastern neighbors.
