Vietnam Airlines, Air France sign joint venture

Air France yesterday signed a new joint venture deal with Vietnam Airlines which will be effective from November 1

As per the joint venture with Vietnam Airlines, the two sides will coordinate their flight schedules to provide better connecting flights for passengers through airports including Noi Bai in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City and Charle De Gaulle in Paris to 50 European countries and local flights in Vietnam.
From the airports, passengers will connect with other flights of SkyTeam Alliance members.
The two sides also exchange experience in improving service quality and carry out promotion program to meet different demands.
A representative of Vietnam Airlines said that it and Air France have signed the deal to build on code shares since 2010 adding that the two airlines raised its relation to higher level by signing the joint venture.
The cooperation showed its determination in international investment especially in France and Europe.
