The long- lasting fire caused difficult travelling for all vehicles through Prenn Pass.
By the evening, the fire still continued to grow and spread rapidly to the neighboring areas. Amid the bad situation, Lam Dong province mobilized firefighters, foresters, night-watchmen and local people to prevent the fire.
Besides that, the firefighters blocked the Prenn Pass, and instructed vehicles travelling through Mimosa Pass, D’Ran Pass.
Accordingly, the Lam Dong Province’s Agricultural and Rural Development Department banned the burning of forest before the Lunar New Year.
Currently the cause of vegetation fire is being investigated.
