US President appreciates development of Vietnam-US ties

US President Donald Trump appreciated steps of development in the US-Vietnam Comprehensive Partnership when receiving a letter of credentials handed over by Vietnamese Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc on September 17.

Welcoming the diplomat, Trump wished him a successful working tenure.
The US President took this occasion to thank the warm welcome to him by the Vietnamese State and people during his visit to Vietnam and attendance at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting in November 2017, and extend his greetings to Vietnam’s leaders and people.
Ambassador Ngoc also conveyed the greetings by Vietnamese senior leaders to the US leader.
He said that the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership is developing strongly and dynamically more than ever, driven by mutual understanding and effective cooperation in numerous fields, at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
He affirmed Vietnam is willing to work with the US to boost win-win cooperation, for the interests of the two peoples, and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
