The Visual Defence Service Group (VDS-Canada) has proposed to invest security and safety systems for Noi Bai International Airport under a build-operate-transfer (BOT) contract.
According to VDS’s proposal, BOT project will be implemented in 20 years with investment capital for the first phase up to US$ 105million and it will be upgraded every 5 years, bringing a total cost of US$ 210million.
VDS will collect security fee at the airport.
Fee rate proposed is around US$ 5.75 per international passenger and US$ 1.5 domestic one.
