The Ministry of Transport urged related sides to speed up progress of highway projects including Da Nang-Quang Ngai, Dau Giay-Phan Thiet and Nha Trang-Phan Thiet at a meeting yesterday.
So far over 42 percent of work volume and 96 percent of site clearance have been done in Da Nang-Quang Ngai Highway. Still some bids have run behind schedule.
The ministry asked the project’s investors to control investment capital and must ensure that it does not exceed VND35 trillion (US$1.56 billion), besides, the projects have to complete construction this year.
Procedures have nearly been done and waited for the Ministry of Transport to fully work out to implement Nha Trang-Phan Thiet project.
The ministry instructed to completely solve site clearance to Da Nang-Quang Ngai project by the end of the first quarter and hand over the space to investors.
All contractors must undertake to ensure projects’ progress and quality, the ministry asked.
