Thu Hang becomes MOFA’s new spokesperson

Ms. Le Thi Thu Hang had just been appointed as the Head of Press and Communication Department and the new spokeswoman of the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), announced Mr. Le Hai Binh, former spokesman of the Ministry at the regular press conference of Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.

Ms. Le Thi Thu Hang had just been appointed as the Head of Press and Communication Department and the new spokeswoman of the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), announced Mr. Le Hai Binh, former spokesman of the Ministry at the regular press conference of Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.

It was the last conference which Mr. Le Hai Binh chaired as a spokesman of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On this occasion, he also thanked the assistance and cooperation of journalists and press agencies for Press and Communication Department during the past years.

Mr. Le Hai Binh has also been appointed in the new position as Deputy Director of Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

Before holding the new position, Ms. Le Thu Thu Hang (photo) had been working in Press and Communication Department for nearly 20 years with positions as the official, Deputy Head of Press and Communication Department, Minister Counselor of Embassy of Vietnam in the UK from 2012-2015.

After finishing the working term in the UK in 2015, Ms. Hang had been appointed as Chief of Authority of Communication and Culture Department (State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and was Head of Communications and Information Department.
