The Royal Navy's HMS Albion docked in HCMC

The UK Royal Navy's amphibious assault ship HMS Albion arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on September 3 , beginning the four-day goodwill visit to Vietnam.

The visit aims to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-UK diplomatic relations (September 11).
The ship crew including 555 officers and crew members paid a courtesy visits to leaders of the HCM City People’s Committee, the High Command of Military Region 7 and the High Command of Navy Zone 2.
The delegation will also take part in exchanges with Vietnamese soldiers of the High Command of Military Region 7 and the High Command of Navy Zone 2.
The amphibious assault ship led by captain Tim Neil is designed a length of 176 meters, a width of 28.9 meters with a displacement of 18,500 tons.
