Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper's Chinese edition yesterday offered Tet gifts to disadvantaged people & students in Nghi Loc district's Phuc Tho Commune of the central province of Nghe An.
The newspaper gave 20 scholarships worth VND 500,000 each to disadvantaged students who made good achievements in studying and offered VND 60million to three families: Le Xuan Than, Manh Thi Tung and Nguyen Thi Hai, aiming to help them repair their houses for Tet Lunar New Year.
For the lunar new year, the newspaper mobilized VND 500million for "Xuan yeu thuong" program to help the poor enjoy warmTet.
