Addressing the launching ceremony, VNU Director Nguyen Kim Son said the partnership between VNU and Viettel is a new pathway for both sides, resulting from their needs for development.

The VNU needs to strengthen collaborative links with businesses to fill the gap between education-research and practice while Viettel looks for cooperation with experts to develop technological solutions to fulfil the goal of becoming a technology group, he added.

The SAE will provide graduate and post-graduate courses in aerospace engineering and at the same time, carry out studies and develop technological solutions in the field for civil and defence purposes.

It will also offer consulting services and transfer of technology and intelligence in aerospace engineering for partners at home and overseas.

The VNU took the occasion to launch a new course in aerospace engineering which will be open for application in the second semester of the academic year 2017-2018. The course targets freshers from the VNU’s University of Technology in Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Telecommunication, and Mechatronics Engineering Technology.
