The Prime Minister has approved an evacuation and resettlement project for the construction of Ninh Thuan nuclear power plants in the south central region, which is expected to complete by 2018.
Total capital for this project is expected to reach VND3,236 billion (US$148.47 million) financed by the Vietnam Electricity.
A total of 1,288 out of 4,911 residents in planned areas for Ninh Thuan 1 and 2 nuclear power plants will remove and resettle in Ham Thuan Nam and Ninh Hai districts.
