The forum attracting more than 3000 Vietnamese and Bangladesh enterprises under the organization of the Bangladesh- Vietnam Business Council.

2018 is considered as a key year in the Vietnam- Bangladesh friendship relations as the two nations will launch practical activities to mark the 45th establishment anniversary of the diplomatic ties.
The Vietnamese people always memorizes and gives the deepest gratitude to support of Bangladesh in the struggle for national liberation as well as the construction and development of the country.
President Tran Dai Quang expressed the pleasure to Bangladesh’s great socio- economic achievements stressing that Vietnam always respects and boosts the traditional friendship and good cooperation with the partner, and is willing to share its experiences to develop the bilateral relations.
After 30 years of innovation, Vietnam achieved great results. Last year, Vietnam achieved a gross domestic product growth rate of 6.81 percent with trade turnover was estimated to reach nearly US$ 425 billion; and foreign investment capital of nearly US$ 37 billion, bringing a total foreign investment capital into the country up to US$ 320 billion.

President Tran Dai Quang highly appreciated potentialities and cooperation & investment opportunities of Vietnam in Bangladesh; and he suggested the functional agencies of Bangladesh to continue creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises.
On the same day, the Vietnamese president attended in an opening ceremony of Vietnam Culture Days in Bangladesh.
The Vietnamese delegation left capital of Dhaka to end the official visit to Bangladesh on the same day.
