Poland and Ho Chi Minh City promote cooperation relations

Chairman of People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Le Hoang Quan had a meeting with Poland's Minister of Employment and the Economy Jan Vapaavuori on October 21.

Chairman Le Hoang Quan appreciated Poland Minister’s visit and considered the visit as a favorable opportunity to strengthen cooperation relations between Vietnam with Poland in general and Ho Chi Minh City with Poland in particular.

Currently, Polish enterprises have total three investment projects in Ho Chi Minh City. Export and import turnover between HCMC and Poland reached over USD 200 million in the first nine months of this year. However, the two sides have considered that the cooperation had been behind two country’s potentiality.

Ho Chi Minh City is predicted to become one of the economic hubs in the Asian region that will create many favorable cooperation and investment opportunities to Poland in the fields of education and training, construction, environment, high technology in the near future, said the Poland Minister.
