Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will chair on April 27 a live-televised teleconference on socio-economics from the first quarter of this year and measures to curb inflation.
The teleconference, the first of its kind to be televised across the nation, is a step to cut state budget allocated to organize meetings, reduce crowds and save time.
The event will come live from Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, the cities of Hai Phong, Da Nang and Can Tho and the provinces of Nghe An, Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak.
It will be attended by deputy PMs, ministers and leaders from the above-mentioned localities.
