Vietnam National Assembly approved state president’s proposal on the list of vice chairmen and members of the Council for National Defense and Security and the National Election Council from the votes of over 89, 88 and 88, 87 percent respectively after Head of the Vote Counting Board Huynh Van Ti announced the list on April 11.
* Accordingly, the list of vice chairmen and members of the Council for National Defense and Security includes:
1. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Vietnamese Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the Council for National Defense and Security.
2. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, National Assembly Chairwoman, member of the Council for National Defense and Security.
3. Mr. Ngo Xuan Lich, Minister of Defense, member of the Council for National Defense and Security
4. Mr.To Lam, Minister of Public Security, member of the Council for National Defense and Security
* Vietnam National Assembly also approved the list of vice chairs of the National Election Council:
1. Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, Deputy Prime Minister
2. Mrs. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Vietnamese Vice President
