On the occasion, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited and sent New Year’s greetings to staffs, officials, experts and workers of the Ca Pass Tunnel Investment Holding Company who are attempting to finish their mission in opening the tunnel. 

The leader also praised spirit and responsibility of the investor as well as overall collaboration of the authorities of Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa province and relevant agencies in order to early put the tunnel into the operation as now.

Ca Pass tunnel project is a major construction of the country with the largest scale in tunnel system on National Highway 1A, which stretched 13.19 kilometers from Phu Yen to Khanh Hoa province, was begun on November 18, 2012. 

The project included tunnel constructions of Ca Pass and Co Ma. 

The tunnel would shorten nearly haft distance of road in comparison with travelling on National Highway 1A. In addition, it also contributed to create favorable conditions in connecting Khanh Hoa province’s two economic areas of Nam Phu Yen and Van Phong; especially promoting regional development of industry, trade and tourism …

On the same day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited workers who are trying to repair damaged Long Thuy dyke system, in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province where typhoon Damrey and high record flood tide swept away 10-15 meters dyke and destroyed tens of houses. 

The leader also visited and offered 100 gifs to poor people, dioxin victims and Vietnamese heroic mothers in An Phu commune on the occasion of coming Tet holidays.
