At the meeting, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong pleasured the participation of the high-ranking delegation of Indonesia National Assembly at APPF- 26 and appreciated good development of Vietnam- Indonesia strategical partnership relationship.
Vietnam and Indonesia have similar benefits so the two sides neede to continue strengthening further comprehensive cooperation, the General Secretary said.
The Party Chief believed that the visit would contribute to boosting the friendship and cooperation ties between the two legislative agencies in particular and between the two countries in general.
On the same day, Speaker of Indonesian Regional Representatives Council Oesman Sapta Odang visited and paid a courtesy greeting to Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang. President Tran Dai Quang appreciated cooperation of the partner in the fields of economy, trade and investment, defense and security and collaboration in solving issues of Vietnamese fishermen in a spirit of friendship, humanity and solidarity.
