Four friendship bridges at Vinh Thanh Commune, Phuoc Long District in the mekong delta province of Bac Lieu, were put into service yesterday from the contribution of overseas community.
Four rural bridges has total capital of VND 500million. Half of money are contributed by overseas Vietnamese from Canada, the US, Japan, Australia, France, England.. These bridges help improving the traffic for around 1,500 local people.
Engineer Nguyen Van Cong – overseas Vietnamese from France, representative of the group said since 2016 to date, the group has built 27 rural bridges across over the country. In Bac Lieu province alone, 13 bridges have been put into service.
On this occasion the group gave 100 gifts to disadvantaged students at Vinh Thanh Commune.
