More than 70,000 people visited the grave of late General Vo Nguyen Giap in Quang Trach District, Quang Binh Province on the Reunification Day and May Day, according to the provincial Border Guards Headquarter.
Kilometer long lines of visitors were recorded in Vung Chua area, Quang Dong Commune where the General’s grave is located.
The Reunification Day saw 20,000 visitors, May Day saw 30,000 and May 2 saw 20,000 people.
The Border Guards Headquarter, related agencies and young volunteers were present at several spots in the area to guide visitors.
