With aiming to solve the pollution on Nha Trang Bay and raise awareness in protecting the environment to local residents and tourists, Nha Trang Bay's management board in the central province of Khanh Hoa has just launched the pilot model to collect garbage on the bay (photo).
As planned, the management board and youth unions will organize to collect garbage on the bay twice a week. It is estimated about 300 kg of thrown away garbages will be collected per day.
Nha Trang People's Committee said the mode, if successful, will be popularized in other localities in the province.
