Military funeral honors volunteer soldiers

A burial ceremony for the remains of 18 fallen Vietnamese voluntary soldiers and experts was held at Ba Doc Martyrs’ Cemetery in the central coastal province of Quang Binh on May 9.

These martyrs laid down during the anti-French and American resistance wars in Laos.
The local authorities and military commands of Quang Binh province and Khammouane Province of Laos joined hands to seek and transfer the remains of fallen soldiers and experts to Vietnam during dry seasons from 2017-2018.
