A literary and art contest on the solidarity in combat of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia has been launched in Hanoi on March 31 by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army.
The competition aims to encourage the creation of arts and literature works honoring the traditional friendship, special solidarity and all-round co-operation among army forces and peoples of the three countries.
Competitors can submit their works in the fields, including literature, music, fine arts, photography and movies from now until December.
The contest aims to mark the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation, the 55th year of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties and the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic relations.
