Kon Tum Province opens third gate on Vietnam, Cambodia border

On September 11, the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province opened the Dak Koi border gate linking Vietnam to Ratanakiri Province in Cambodia.

On September 11, the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province opened the Dak Koi border gate linking Vietnam to Ratanakiri Province in Cambodia.

The Dak Koi border gate located in Bo Y Commune of Ngoc Hoi District in Kon Tum Province is opposite the Kon Tuy Neak gate in Ta Veng Lo Commune in Ta Veng District of Ratanakiri Province in Cambodia.

The opening of Dak Koi border gate was part of a plan to upgrade many of the border gates by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vietnam under a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in socio-economic development and coordination of border security between Kon Tum Province in Vietnam and Ratanakiri Province in Cambodia.

In addition to the Bo Y border gate, Kon Tum Province now has three   border gates, namely, two on the Vietnam-Laos border in Dak Glei District and one on the Vietnam-Cambodia border, namely, the new Dak Koi gate in Ngoc Hoi District.
