Kind German tourist saves lost kid in Ca mountainous pass

A German tourist saved a 7-year-old kid in the central province of Phu Yen who got lost in Ca mountainous pass while he was driving a motorbike in the night from Da Lat Town in the highlands province of Lam Dong to Quy Nhon.

The young tourist at the age of 20 had used google translated to find way to the border guard to seek assistance.

The border guard of Hoa Hiep Nam station in Phu Yen Province June 11 said that in the early morning German man Kainz took the lost kid to the station asking the border guard to find parents of the girl. In the day, she was brought home by her parents in Dong Hoa District.

Head of the border guard station Major Do Trong Dai said that as per Kainz’s statement, he met the girl in the mounainous pass at mid night when she was running and crying in the highway No.1. Kainz stopped to comfort the girl and drove the kid to border guard station for assistance.

Because Kainz doesn’t know Vietnamese, he stopped many vehicles asking them to help him to the nearest border guard station. One of drivers agreed to lead the German man to the border guard station. Kainz was invited to stay to see the kid’s parents.

The parents said she went out on June 10 at 10 PM, the family didn’t knkow. Until the next morning they were informed that the kid was saved in Ca mountain where is 8 kilometer away from the her house. The parents were moved for Kainz’ kindness.

Kainz said Vietnam is one of the destinations in his tour of Asia. He decided not visit Quy Nho but Quang Ngai, Hoi An and Hanoi.
