A “Foreign Investment in Vietnam - Potential, Policy and Opportunity” forum will outline Vietnam’s investment policies and environment.

Participants will also have the chance to tour industrial parks in the southern provinces to see the available infrastructure.

Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Company (Vinexad) Deputy Director Pham Quynh Giang said although the global financial crisis had seriously affected commerce around the world, Vietnam was regarded as having a stable investment environment.

A large number of foreign firms, including 52 Chinese companies and 13 stands from companies from the Czech Republic, are participating in the expo.

More than 300 booths will display goods and services such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food processing and wastewater treatment techniques, mining technology, garment machines and materials.

The “Vietnam – Integration and Development” trade fair will be at the HCMC International Exhibition and Convention Center (HIECC) at 446 Hoang Van Thu Street in Ward 4 of Tan Binh District from December 3-7.
