Ho Chi Minh Museum on Wednesday celebrated the 35th anniversary of foundation of its Ho Chi Minh City Branch ( July, 9, 1979 - 2014)
For over 35 years, HCM City Branch of the museum has become an educational center on revolutionary historical events, moral life and great revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh.
In the previous years, Ho Chi Minh Museum in the city has welcomed over 30 million visitors from all over the country and overseas. Especially, hundreds of heads of state delegations, and high level delegations from many countries visited, learned and researched on President Ho Chi Minh.
On this occasion, five individuals were handed over Ho Chi Minh City’s Badge, two groups and four individuals were given praise certificates by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Marking the 35th anniversary of foundation of Ho Chi Minh Museum Branch in the city, the museum held series of seminars on the theme of patriotic tradition, aiming to educate young generation.
The ceremony was attended by leaders of Party Committee in Ho Chi Minh City and Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Safeguarding High Command, revolutionary war veterans, representative leaders of over 15 southern provinces and students.
