More than 5,000 teams and individuals were praised for well performing the ‘Study and Follow HO Chi Minh’s Moral Example’ movement in Ho Chi Minh City, said Than Thi Thu, head of the city Party Committee’s Department of Propaganda and Training on June 8.
She was reporting at a conference, chaired by the Party Committee Secretary Le Thanh Hai, to review three years since the Ministry of Politburo’s Directive 03-CT/TƯ was implemented to speed up the movement in HCMC.
The drive has become a norm to estimate working attitude of civil servants in government agencies, contributing to limit troublesome problems for residents, she said.
The city administrations at all levels received 38,000 city residents and handled almost all 7,500 complaints and denunciation letters last year, of these, decreased 35 percent over the previous year, Hai said.
He prompted leaders of all administrations levels and government agencies to continue to cling to the directive while conducting their political missions and emulation movements.
Officials and civil servants should study and follow Uncle Ho’s moral example via specific actions everyday.
