The organizations and units in Ho Chi Minh City have recently oragnized a wide ranges of activities to help poor people, workers and children enjoy Vietnamese traditional festival.
Children receive gifts from the annual program” Cay mua xuan- Thap sang long nhan ai” ( Spring tree to light up kindness).
450 workers with serious illnesses and fatal diseases received Tet gifts worth VND600,000-VND1.2 million each from the Labor Union in district 1. The union’s annual event aims to suport disadvanatged laborers to enjoy a warm Tet.
Meanwhile the District 10’s Labor Union visited and offered the presents to workers of private garbage companies, who have not got Tet bonuses and faced with several difficulties in their living.
The Ho Chi Minh City Association Sponsoring for Disabled people and Orphans organized the annual program” Cay mua xuan- Thap sang long nhan ai” ( Spring tree to light up kindness) to give 2,000 gifts each worth VND500,000 to disabled people and orphans residing in social houses and centers in the city.
The Standing Board of the Fatherland Front Committees of Ho Chi Minh City in recent days has visited and offered 3,100 Tet gifts to poor households and ethnic minority people in the suburb, and given presents to more than 2,000 disabled children residing in social houses and centers.
The Department Of Labor Invalid Social Affair in Ho Chi Minh handed over 4,500 presents, each worth VND500,000 to disadvantaged children in the city.
