The Hanoi city started yesterday construction of steel flyover at the O Dong Mac -Nguyen Khoai intersection, one of the most crowded streets in the inner city
The four lane steel frame flyover has 232m in length and 12 m in width & is invested over VND 166billion. Of these, total construction expenditure is VND 135 billion.
Hanoi Department of transport said the flyover will help reduce traffic jam in the city as the section of the belt road No.1 & other traffic routes will also be completed.
This is the ninth steel flyover, aiming to reduce traffic congestion in the inner city and one of 8 traffic projects in the city approved by the Prime Minister.
It is estimated to be completed in December 31, 2016.
