Hanoi kicks off construction of Ring Road No. 2

The construction of the Ring Road No. 2 linking Vinh Tuy with Nga Tu So Ward has been kicked off on April 22 in Hanoi.

The road has a total length of 43.6km road, including a 5-km flyover connecting Vinh Tuy- Nga Tu So Ward and 3-km section from Vinh Tuy to the Vong Intersection.
The new 6-lane road will be 53.5 to 63.5 meters wide with an estimated cost of more than VND 9,400 billion (US$408.6 million), including a total capital for site clearance of VND4,000 billion and construction cost of VND3,000 billion.
The project built under BT (Build-Transfer) form is expected to be completed in four years.
