A ceremony celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 25th anniversary of the whole people’s defence day (December 22nd) was held in Hanoi on December 13.
The event was organized by the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) with attendance of State President Truong Tan Sang and Former General Secretary Le Kha Phieu.
At the ceremony, on behalf of Party and the State, President Truong Tan Sang congratulated the General Department of Politics’ achievements and its last 70 years glorious history.
On the occasion, President Sang granted the Ho Chi Minh Order, the noblest honor of the Party and State, to the General Department of Politics in recognition of its significant dedication.
