Hundreds of vegetables from the highlands city of Da Lat in Lam Dong Province will be provided to every district in the country for preparation of Tet holidays ( the Lunar New Year).
When SGGP reporters came to Dalat G.A.P company its workers were keeping busy at harvesting veggies and selecting them for packing and then transporting to all corners of the country.
Dalat G.A.P company director Le Van Cuong said that the company increased its productivity by 25 percent compared to previous months, Around 1,800 tons of safe vegetables meeting GlobalGAP and VietGAP standards such as salads, cabbages, tomatoes, pimentos and beans will be in meals of people nationwide.
A representative of Anh Dao Cooperative said that its members are also increasing the quantity of veggies by 30 percent and the prices are remained unchanged.
Especially, farms in Da Lat city will supply a large quantity of veggies grown by the water-culture method without soil with the price of VND35,000-40,000 per kilogram.
