Four Vietnamese big companies in Forbes’ top 40 most valuable brands

Forbes Vietnam held a ceremony to honor Vietnam’s 40 most valuable brands in 2018 yesterday.

Companies being honored by Forbes this year have the total brand’s value of more than US$8 billion, an increase of 50 percent over the list in 2017, thanks to the strong growth in stock market which help increase the average PE ratio of almost industries.
HDBank, Vinhomes, VNPT… are some of the newly listed brands.
Brands’ value was measured by Forbes global method, based on public transparent financial data. According to Forbes, all the most valuable brands have large revenue in their industries.
Moreover, businesses with valuable brands have made remarkable changes in their product ranges and expanded to new markets, which has been rewarded with greater profits.
Vietjet is one of the youngest brands.
