Search and rescue forces have recovered other two bodies from crashed CASA-212 aircraft 8983. So far eight out of nine missing members of the aircrew have been found dead, reported the Ministry of National Defense said late afternoon yesterday.
They were found near the waters where the aircraft’s parts have been retrieved in Bach Long Vy Island off Hai Phong city.
Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Pham Ngoc Minh said that the two bodies have been taken ashore for identity verification.
Rescuers continue searching the last missing member of CASA-212 aircrew.
The ministry and relevant agencies have worked to decode the aircraft’s two black boxes retrieved on June 27.
