Egyptian President begins state- level visit to Vietnam

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi pays a state-level visit to Vietnam today at an invitation of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang.

Egyptian senior leaders accompanying the president on the trip are Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, Chief of Staff of the President Major General Moustafa Sherif, Minister of International Investment and Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabil, Minister of Transport Hisham Arafat and others. 

The state- level visit brings an important historical meaning for the countries’ relationship, marking respect and desire to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam. 

Additionally, the trip is an opportunity so that both sides discuss solutions to boost bilateral cooperation in the various fields, including economic, trade and investment cooperation, agriculture, culture and tourism...
