Dr. Ngo Van Nhon awarded as IAQ Academician

Dr. Ngo Van Nhon, Chairman of Vietnam Quality Association and President of Institute for Quality Assessment and Development in Ho Chi Minh City is the first Vietnamese person who obtained the IAQ (International Academy for Quality) academician.

He was elected as academician of IAQ at the World Conference on Quality and Improvement which was organized by the International Academy for Quality and the American Society for Quality. The event attracted more than 3,500 delegates from 45 countries.
IAQ is an independent, self-supported, non-profit, non-governmental organization that is administered by a collegial assembly of individuals who have been elected by their peers from among the most respected, active and experienced protagonists of quality in the world. As of now there are 133 academicians representing 37 countries.
To become an academician at the IAQ, applicants must meet the requirements, including having 15 years of teaching, writing at least 30 scientific articles in prestigious magazines and presenting at international conferences....
