Deputy PM: Police stations to be built at airports

At an online conference on aviation security on April 24, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh, who is also chairman of the Civil Aviation Security Committee, asked the Ministry of Public Security to build police stations at airports to ensure the aviation safety and security.

The ministry should enhance inspection and supervision of the civil and military areas at the airports and launch security measures to deal with illegal acts as well as establish the Aviation Security Ensuring One member co., Ltd under the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the deputy PM added.
The Ministry of Public Security asked ACV to pour money to installation projects of latest facilities, equipment and other necessary factors for ensuring aviation safety and security at airports and terminals, such as anti-Terrorist supplies, systems of cameras, X-ray systems, automatic barrier gates preventing the illegal entering.
