A delegation of the city's Party Committee, led by chief of the committee's Internal Affairs Department Tran The Luu visited and gave presents to voluntary students who are partaking in “Mua He Xanh” (Green Summer Campaign) in Dak Nong province.
On behalf of the committee, Mr. Luu encouraged and gave gifts to these student volunteers from Sai Gon University who are liaising with doctors from hospitals in HCMC to provide free health examination and drugs to hundreds of inhabitants in Quang Tin Commune in the province.
On the same day, Mr. Luu and his team also visited students of HCMC Medicine University who are volunteering to help local residents repair houses or teach local children in Dak Mil District of the province.
Mr. Luu's delegation also gave 150 gifts including books, dairy products and sugar to 150 children in Dak Gan Commune.
