City Party Chief receives UNDP’s Representative in VN

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan welcomed  Mr. Kamal Malhotra - United Nations Resident Coordinator and Resident Representative at United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam yesterday.

At the reception, the city Party leader expressed his pleasure at good results of cooperation relationship between the United Nations Development Program with Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh City. 

Additionally, he hoped Mr. Kamal Malhotra would continue supporting Vietnam as well as Ho Chi Minh City in building a smart city, anti- climate change, humanity resources development, administrative reform and start-up.  

The UNDP’s Resident Representative said that Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular is the important partners of the United Nations. 

The United Nations Development Program is ready for supporting the city in improving labor productivity, the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) and innovation in the upcoming time.
